Our group is involved with science all over NWA. Rocks that give off radiation, magnets and copper pipes to create electricity and other demonstrations are highlighted at First Friday on the Bentonville Square. An historic telescope over 36-feet long is being refurbished for use in a science center. Sorting and shipping recycled eclipse glasses to South America for an eclipse in July 2019 happens the 2nd and 4th Saturday every month in Springdale.
From sidewalk astronomy to donating telescopes to area libraries, NWA Space is dedicated to providing easily accessible science education and entertainment right here in Northwest Arkansas! Click to learn more about upcoming outreach events!
