August 22, 2018. NWA SPACE brought a large telescope from Pennsylvania to northwest Arkansas last summer. The nonprofit organization has continued to work on finding a permanent home for the telescope and has hosted several space-related events throughout the region. The group is hosting an event to sort eclipse glasses from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Explore Scientific in Springdale.


July 20, 2018. Meghan See reports on the Mars Block Party hosted by NWA Space to celebrate the agreement for land for the science center, the 49th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the Moon, and the opposition of Mars.

April 26, 2017. Kyle Kellams of Ozarks at Large interviewed Anne Diallo and Daniel Barth of the NWA Space board.

A giant, historic telescope is slated to move to northwest Arkansas from Pennsylvania. The same group behind the move, Supporting STEM in Space, is also donating smaller telescopes to area libraries.
