November 5th Moon on Dickson

Once again we were on Dickson Street for Moon on Dickson on Saturday November, 4th.  We had a great time looking at the Moon and talking with all the people on Dickson Street.

Seen here are two of the three telescopes that were set up on the corner of Dickson Street and West Avenue in Fayetteville for Moon on Dickson.

 October Moon on Dickson

At least once each month, we converge on the corner of Dickson Street and West Avenue in Fayetteville with telescopes to look at cool stuff in the night sky.  It's called Sidewalk Astronomy when you take telescopes to city streets for observation.  We call our event "Moon on Dickson".  It is amazing how much you can see through a telescope from the side walks of any town.  Come join the fun!

September First Friday on Bentonville Square

We had solar telescopes and several science demonstrations set up at First Friday.  We demonstrated moon phases, magnetism, and minerals to the crowd.  Had a wonderful time and met many, many amazing people.
