Your pledge helps support our many efforts, including visits to local schools for lectures and STEAM nights, expanding the library telescope project to more libraries and additional telescopes, and promoting an exciting scientific atmosphere throughout the region. Your support will also work toward our ultimate goal of building a science technology center with planetarium and observatory in Northwest Arkansas.

Ada Lovelace
$5/month
Our most popular sponsorship level at $5/ month. Goal for December 2023 is to add 100 new Lovelace Sponsors. Subscription charges monthly until cancelled. Universal benefits for 1 named person.
James Watt
$10/month
Your annual sponsorship ($120) covers the cost of all supplies and materials for three (3) outreach events in the public schools. Subscription charges $10/monthly until cancelled. Universal benefits for 1 named person.
Eratosthenes Sponsor
$20/month
Your annual subscription will enable us to develop a new demonstration for education outreach. Developing a new demonstration set requires hours of work by our volunteers working out connections between with different parts of the demos and the associated NGSS standards. New demos also require purchasing new equipment.
Cecilia Payne Sponsor
$50/month
Your annual sponsorship ($600) covers the cost of one month of telescope storage. Storing the telescope until we complete the building is the single largest expense we have.
Nicholas Tesla Sponsor
$75/month
Your sponsorship will cover the cost of supplies and materials for twenty (20) outreach events in the public schools. This represents an entire year of our scheduled school outreach events.
Katherine Johnson Sponsor
$100/month
Your sponsorship will cover the cost of supplies, materials and location rental for a week-long summer day camp for local middle school and high schoolers. Our goal of building a science-literate workforce requires engagement outside of school and during the summers.
DoorKnob Society (Major Donors)
For those who want to have a larger impact on our project we also offer DoorKnob (major donor) sponsorships. Your support will allow us to create more science outreach opportunities in NorthWest Arkansas. We will create summer and overnight events for students, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and other groups. We will create evening events for adults. Our ultimate goal of a science center in NWA will allow increased opportunities for science exploration to all ages.
The DoorKnob Society is our major and long-time donors who helped open the doors to informal science education, outreach and fun in NorthWest Arkansas. Each member will have a plaque mounted on or above a doorknob through the facility. There will be a wall of doorknobs for the highest levels near the entrance explaining the significance and importance of the plaques throughout the center.
